You can order with us by sending an e-mail or fax with the order data.
Mention class, series, code, description, dimensions and price of the article, the number of articles you want, together with any request (on color etc.).
Also mention preferred method of payment and shipment and your company name, company address and delivery address.
We send you an invoice as confirmation, with the prices, estimation of transportation costs and delivery time and start processing the order as soon as the first payment has been made.
THe minimum order size for wholesale is 250 $. For retail sales there is no minmum order size.
Depending on amount from one week to three or more months.
You can pay us in the following ways:
- deposit on our bank account in Ecuador (in u.s. dollars)
- deposit on our bank account in The Netherlands (in euros)
- with a certified check on name of Artes Saquíl
- online payment with Credit Card (either dollars or euros)
Conversion rate and costs of payment
For payments in euro´s: we apply the conversion rate euro-dollar on the day the first payment is received.
The rate applied is the normal bank rate. The fee to cover the risks and costs of conversion and money transfer is 2,5%.
Costs of payment and bank deposits are for buyer.
For credit card payments of sums over 500$ a payment fee may apply.
Transportation can be either by post, courier, air freight or sea freight.

For small orders up to 10 kg we advise to send by normal post.
Delivery time for the post is between a few days and two weeks.

handling costs
For orders sent by mail and courier the handling are between 10 and 40$ depending on the complexity of the order.
Air and sea freight orders have fixed handling costs.
airfreight
Mayor airlines like Continental, KLM, Lufthansa, Air France and others have
Ecuador in their network. So we can ship airfreight from Ecuador to all
mayor airports in North America, Europe and the rest of the world.
Normal transportation time is about 2 days.
Underneath air freight for Western Europe. Air freight to the USA is in general lower. Exact costs and rates for other parts of the world upon request.

sea freight
From Guayaquil or Manta (the country’s main ports) ships go to the mayor
seaports of North America and Europe. We can ship either by m3, 20 feet or 40 feet container.

In case we handle the transportation we will do our best to have you receive the goods in perfect condition.
As we deliver in principle exw Quito, we are not responsible for damage during transportation.
For 15% of the article price we guarantee the transportation. However our experience is that damage is lower than 5%.
The method of payment depends on the amount involved:
small orders (up to $1,000)
Full prepayment.
medium orders (1,000 - 10,000$)
Full prepayment.
Later orders can be done with prepayment of 50% and payment of 50%, once you have received the goods (within five days).
Transport is in case we organize it, prepaid or paid on collect.
large orders (more than $10,000)
Letter of Credit or comparable secure payment
